They said the acquisition should be sorted out (either way) in November so we must be close. I imagine both sides will be keen to do a deal, so we will see how good a negotiator ASH is. ASH needs to get a lower price given what they have announced so far, the question is how desperate CCL is to do the deal. I take comfort from the fact that nobody is more impacted by this outcome than the MD.
