The above was posted on 29/2 after concerns raised by Oupa. That was 2 short weeks ago. (All along I have been very bearish about a deal/TO, but very bullish about Rett's P3 result and its importance to the company - all we had to do was await the result.)
As far as I am concerned that has now been thrown into confusion, due to the explosion of events relating to the virus. I can no longer accept that there will not be disruption to the trial. The extent of that disruption (due to an unforeseeable and totally unconnected calamity) will be critical to the future of this company.
A major setback such as postponment, or even abandonment, could break us totally, whilst less serious delays will be deletetious to our funding options and SP stability. Not so with our partner. Trof and Rett's are important to them, but not the main game. Sure, they are icing on the cake, but they don't depend on us - alas, not vice versa.
A worrying time indeed for shareholders. Unless my concerns prove to be erroneous, we cannot rely on the eventual bounce back that the bulk of the market can look forward to. Time will tell I guess.
[Notice that ACADIA did not benefit from last night's NASDAQ 10% bounce - hope that is not a portend for Rett's problems.]
