From memory the inventory write down may have been partially figurines and wrappers cartons for old series and they decided to relaunch them as retro. So bit of accountimng tricks going on making bad numbers look worse and then Ok numbers look better as you bing written off stock back in at low value IMO. Other thing is that thaey may have given stock on sale or return to a disposal place or to existing clienst a sit gets invoiced and looks good on books but can later be returned . Just me guessing at part of that. Also beware that shipping last day of year and not being paid appears a slow inventory and with new promotions all stock leaves at once to fill retail wharehouses and other stock returned or destroyed depending on agreement. Inventory in clienst wharehouses gets run down coming up to these eventa that are determined months earllier . YOW in soem instances may be required to keep min amount in retailers wharehouses / distribition centers depending on sales.
