Recently, AXE stated on social media that it is ‘bringing Quantum Computing to ‘life’ at room temperature for electronic device chips’. Life being the operative word.
Therefore, would it be too simplistic to say that AXE's material is truly organic?
By taking a pulse-level system approach rather than a gate-level one, they are more closely resembling carbon-based life and therefore have a greater chance of successfully integrating it into our modern devices due to the flexibility of the form and function created. To me, gates appear to retain analogue qualities and therefore could be counter intuitive to providing the necessary form and function required to fully integrate.
Today would have been a great day to be a fly on the wall at Semicon Taiwan Conference. The status of quantum and quantum-inspired computers related development was 'reported', including potential collaborations of quantum and quantum-inspired computers with the semiconductor industry.
It could be a big Australian 'spring' coming up for us all!
