At least we now know that the "changing landscape" is impacting the conclusion of the ongoing PTX-200 trial specifically in the department of recruitment. Its about time that (maybe) PTX elaborate on the fact that our scientific team derived valuable knowledge from PTX-200 and have already incorporated the mechanism of action into CellPryme.... that it forms part of our synergistic business model of personalised/precision medicine!

Now I understand why on the Clinical Trials site, that the status of PTX-200 is marked as "Unknown". It is ongoing in the sense that those patients in the trial are continuing to receive treatment but that new patients are not being recruited. The trial in that sense is ongoing but without pursuit of new patients. So when can we expect completion and a final readout? I would suspect when PTX and Prof Jeff Lancet have determined a next step (if there is one... and only when there is one... otherwise do we just hear crickets?). Fingers crossed, though, that they will be able find some creative use for it... but, hang on, I thought our scientific team already had done that with CellPryme?

What's interesting is the fact that whilst there are many new therapies for AML, it is one of the most elusive blood cancers to crack in the CAR-T space. I just wish that PTX would elaborate on how the mechanism of action of PTX-200 as a PH Domain inhibitor has been applied to our CellPryme platform and that the asset value of PTX-200 (in a way) will be realised via our CellPryme platform. Could we even go as far to say that the PTX-200 trial in AML has served many purposes, the main one being the development of CP? As to whether PTX-200 in other indications such as Breast and Ovarian cancer can be further investigated now (via a farmout given the data to date from three trials), will be interesting. Even though it looks as though PTX will be shelving it (as it has served its purpose as such and we are not in a financial position to want to pursue it further), is it possible that PTX-200 remains a viable asset in its current form as a Targeted Therapy drug?

It continues to frustrate me how we're needing to thread needles to have unvalidated understandings of our progress though.

We shouldn't have to wade through an annual report to glean insights into our progress, or lack thereof.

More comms and more transparency please!
