The primary assets in this fund are floating rate loans. The value of the assets is not going to fluctuate as long as the credit quality is high and there are no defaults. The fund got through the Covid period with no major defaults and this should be a good guide as to the quality of the borrowers. I can understand that there would be some concern about the losses on forward foreign exchange contracts but not enough to warrant the discount to NTA that we see at the moment. Now that the buyback capital is being returned to unitholders as income the yield is attractive at 10.2% - not to be sneezed at IMO.
