You asked for comments on your holdings and I'm reluctant to do that given that I'm not very good at this caper myself, but I would suggest that looking for continuous, unabated growth in profits, EPS, dividends etc. may stifle your options. There are strong companies out there that are happy to stunt their growth while they build a new distribution centre or spread geographically etc with a view to that immediate cost supporting better returns at a later date.
As a sort of follow up to Madam's comments about the miracles that can occur when Revenue grows faster than Expenditure, the following table reflects Compounding Annual Growth Rates across just the last five years for the two companies you are looking at
Small differences between Revenue and Expenses can provide bigger differences as you move towards the bottom of the reports. I hasten to add that the real story behind a company's performance, both historically and going forward, requires many more statistics than what I just offered here but all you guys know that anyway.
