You're not wrong. A lot of chaps have gained fat stomachs of this thing while hungry investors enjoy kicks to the teeth year after year. Never mind though, as @onlymoney would say it's onlyYOURmoney, except it's not yours anymore. A few punters on Punt Road have it stuffed in their pockets now.
