That's a good spot, you'd hope they got their paperwork in time. $452k is a lot to find in a hurry. Though you'd expect them to be able to negotiate an extension. They are due an estimated $667k in R&D and it's looking like they really need that cash at the moment, coffers must be very very light on at the moment.

$407k in the bank at end of June.
plus say $100k in sales
plus $240k from Spark
less $928 in estimated outgoings
leaves -$181k.

They need the balance of the R&D just to survive to the end of the quarter. Though they may roll over their loan to take an amount from this quarter, possibly another $100+k.

Either way, something has to give in the very near term. Either a cash up front deal and/or at least a partial CR to sophis to get cash in fast.
