This stock seems interesting, but it looks to me as if someone is playing games to try and use the lack of liquidity to tempt buyers to up their bids...

I bought just a few (I find this is the only way I really bother to follow a stock for any length of time!) and noticed that the seller initially just gave me 4 shares at $3.28. Since I didn't bother to step up to get the rest, eventually my small order got filled over 4 or 5 days in some slightly larger chunks. Now I see them sell 4 shares to the next guy down at $3.27, then someone buys up just 116 to move the price up 3 price levels to $3.57.

The price action all just looks a little too manufactured for my comfort.

I like the progress they've made as a business (especially since Steven Goodarzi got involved, I think?) and the reviews for CovaU seem to suggest they're doing things right, but they are quite dependent on the wholesale electricity prices for the level of profit and while their derivative strategy could settle the volatility, it could go both ways. Not enough clues in the last update, so I think I'll just sit on these for a bit and see how it plays.
