It's a little confusing when they are adding "cash" on their balance sheet that actually belong to the underlying entities. Seems a bit misleading. It looks like as a group, cash is definitely loaned out amongst themselves (really, LIS cash is the main piggy bank). At least they clarified this point in this report, because on the last report, everyone assumed they had this wad of cash just sitting on their balance sheet!
Interesting the LIS shares are coming out of escrow at the end of next month. That alone is ~80ml of assets that could be used eg; partially sold off should they wish to pursue other synergistic endeavours that favour the incubator companies. I wonder if they would let go of the 'controlling interest' in order to grow the hub?
