To give a clearer example. Say you bought 2 assets. OSP at the top, and BRN at the bottom 10k each
Your 10k in BRN has gone up 250x and become 2.5m
Your 10k in OSP has gone down 99.7% to 30 dollars
At the end of the day, you have only lost 10k in OSP. But you have made 2.5m in BRN.
With 0.1% of your profits you can probably buy the whole OSP company out. Hence a zero risk investment no matter what price you buy OSP at. And you are worrying about how you can get it abit cheaper when it’s already this diluted.
The most critical 3 aspects of investing is not avoiding all risk. It is risk management, going big at the bottom, and not selling to nobody 100% of your shares for 10 years or until it’s 200x up etc.
IMO you will lose much more for a failure to buy at the bottom and holding at least a portion until it reaches ATH in the LR
A cleaner might be satisfied with his income because he does not know the income of a restuarant owner. A restuarant owner might be satisfied with his income because he does not know the income of a politician or a doctor or a lawyer. A person on high salary is satisfied with his income because he doesn’t know the income of an investor. An ASX investor is satisfied with his income because he has no crypto friends. A crypto millionaire is satisfied with his income because he does not know a Russian Orgliarch. Bill Gates might be rich, but he does not own an army like Putin.
Moral of the story. There is always a bigger fish than you. The sellers of OSP are not the wisest or biggest of fish out there…
I know my example is abit extreme. And I appreciate your impartial and honest analysis. But in the context of your situation. It’s a MUST BUY now.
