That’s sound commercial logic Dentie. We’re seeing no confidence by the Board in its own brand and in turn no true confidence in the products.

They’ve cannibalised our iconic premium products and abandoned their otherwise unique marketing attributes. Shame!

AN1’s Board and management, whilst surely knowing that reality, no doubt pursue white labelling to suit their shorter term plans to prop up sales figures, not build leading brand ‘first in class’ recognition.

Is what we are seeing, without any apparent opposing view by any director, a jettison of sustainable growth for shareholder returns, including a rising sp (the latter of no apparent interest by the incumbents) in favour of M&A for its own sake and purpose?

The logical reason for that questionable business model is likely the H&G M&A culture and short -term transactional achievement consistent with their flick on metrics to pull off another “successful” deal announcement.

The majority of LT holders, going by their posts here and past loyalty, put their misplaced faith in the opposite traditional business rationale adopted by most successful companies working in the best interest of all shareholders not one or two.
