$3.30 today? Rubbish. Chicken Littles. The results weren't brilliant nor were they disasterous or any huge surprise. It was in forecasts that there would be pressures and it does not need the intellect of Einstein to have surmised that there would be greater financing costs.
Not a screaming buy or sell, however accumulated a little more. Still pays a 5% fully franked dividend, grossed up its 7%. Rule of 72, thats 10 years to double, not considering cap gains or losses.
The stock still deserves a place in a defensive portfolio.
