Thanks, yes I think EG knows a lot more about the company than me. He does come to the same conclusions as me though (a price fall likely on Monday, and unexpectedly ( ie without prior asx notification) disappointing results and cost blowouts) and doesn't cover the issue about whether revenue is on a falling trend.
As EG points out, it is the future not the past that is important, and I can't clearly see the future pathway through this announcement. For example, the statement that historically more revenue falls in the first calendar half than the second half, which therefore implies that $1bn p.a. is easily achievable, can be challenged if revenue is currently $80m per month and falling.
None if which matters if we get our 15c dividends as promised and can hold out for the long term, by which time we can rely on DDs track record to pull us through a down patch. But I am definitely sceptical of anything like 15c next year.
