So it is clear that UQ has filed everything in time but they did not inform Prana at all. So it looks that patent will be granted one day but what will ATH get is open.
In January 2019 Prana filed in Australia an application " “Processes for the preparation of 8-Hydroxyquinoline Derivatives”. If this will make any difference to the old PBT2 patent, I cannot say anything. In any case, PBT2 has at least some value for a few years. Interesting to see how this will develop.
