The infrastructure spend in WA is focused around major assets which are expected to be in operation for decades. This system is not proven in that regard, so why would any of the people of influence back an unproven option, particularly when government money is, by its very nature, politically motivated?
Just look at Mandurah and Forrestfield car parks (currently under construction). They are about as ‘traditional design’ as you could wish for.
Parkd need to put their energy in to a different space before their cash reserves dry up. Major Government infrastructure is a lost cause.
