Hey BlackPeter, with all the respect in the world (assuming its you from ST) thats not how it goes with SAAS sales. Generally they'll sell the vanilla out of the box solution and the customer pays for configuration and customisation - thats not obsorbed by the seller of any SAAS products.
So this isnt an increasing cost to worry about, if anything its the opposite, the more complex a solution the more expenisive and hence profitable (as you clip on time and materials or config hours) and then you upstream the development if its clever enough functionality and eventually incorporate it into 'vanilla' and over time everyone wins and your offering grows at the customers expense.
