Do you know what that is for? Where it has been referred to previously? This has been in the past few annual reports, and most likely all of them. No, I don't operate the business, I don't have access to the data room so can't say with 100% certainty what these payments are for. But they are classified under R+D, so they're probably for a mixture of:
Clinical trial costs
Preclinical data generation
Potency assay development
"payments for cell production or guarantees of cell production orders"
Given CYP is currently running 3 clinical trials, with a 4th about to commence, fair to say the last point you mentioned is relevant.

A note at the end of the March Quarterly would have been better, yes. She did a good job getting us a partnership with USyd for a fully-funded Phase 3 clinical trial in knee osteoarthritis (estimated to be worth $20M), and a partnership with LUMC for the renal transplantation clinical trial. But ultimately she didn't deliver in terms of commercial, revenue-generating partnerships over 4 years, so I don't really lose any sleep in the fact that she left in January and it was only reported now.
