Personally I think the resignation of the VP for partner engagement - Dr Lipe - is a real shame. If you follow bio-tech companies, you have to say the procurement of sponsorship of the University of Sydney, and funding by an Australian Government National Health and Medical Research Council in the massive Sculptor trial, excellent work, and then more recently Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) in the Netherlands funding the new clinical trial in patients who have received a kidney transplant, shows she was continuing to do good work.
Did it occur to anyone the loss of such key personnel might be part of the reason Ross Macdonald and Stewart Washer removed from their posts?
JB, come on, per Truss comments, CYP's reporting of its contractual obligations entirely in keeping with both industry and its own past reporting of contracted and arrangements that are liabilities. Kind of how accounting works....
As you say @truss20, the Sculptor trial worth around $20 million. The LUMC trial what $2 million? $16 million cash on the books, enough to fund its GVHD and DFU trials. Even if you valued CYP's potential forward earnings as zip, you'd have to put a value on its IP, presently undergoing four trials, one of which a massive phase III RCT, as way more than its $22 million mkt cap.
There are some really stupid investors out there, not just in CYP of late, selling companies so far under their fundamental value, due to difficult, but overblown capital costs concerns. This report gives keen insight into that.
