Try Division 4 OF Part 7.5 of the Act, yes now it makes sense and good luck trying to get any guarantee or recompense for loss of your investment under this regime. You have depository notes not equity in the business so you have very limited legal rights, the issuer of the CDI's holds the legal rights.
Some interesting points in the Prospectus and also I hope you realise that "Hope Dairy Holdings Limited" as the majority holder of the ASX listed CDI's is completely unrelated to "New Hope Dairy Holdings Co. Ltd" that the Moxley and Perich family are involved in. Also they struggled to attract investment such that they extended the offer and so getting somewhere between $15m - $20m isn't going to buy them much in way of a dairy processing plant.
