The buybacks are eating into the share capital on this company faster than just about any other company on the market. What are you talking about? They are deploying excess capital at a very low earnings multiple - it's the biggest no brainer buyback out there. All while they are not deploying much more capital into growth than they ever have.
They can talk and chew gum at the same time. There's no point just spraying money at growth like a firehose. It has to be controlled or it will be wasted.
