If the shorties remove their own sell orders there will be hardly enough TLS stock on offer for them to buy below $3.60 to cover their positions.
Last Friday alone the shorted over 23 million of TLS shares.
It seems to me that the shorties will be the ones that will push the price up from here and when they lift the brakes TLS will take off.
NBN - The worst case scenario of functional separation (BT style) will cost Telstra 10 cents per share. If the TLS sp is supposed to be around $4.20 I would expect the re-rating of the stock (it's coming soon) to push the sp over $4.00.
