There are big potato growers but not on the scale of the USA, and I am sure they have all been made aware of what CLI might offer. We grow what we eat and export a little more, but nothing huge.
I am not a rural sort and have only been to field days a couple of times. I cant see there being one potato grower per thousand diary farmers attending. Not worth it for such a niche technology/market imho. The costs of presenting there will be ten times the $600 suggested once you account for time there, time preparing, airfares accomodation etc. Not worth doing if you don’t do it properly.
I am pretty skeptical about most things CLI, but wouldn’t knock them for not presenting at field days.
