Some of the posts here reflect why it is pointless for the company to bother communicating with shareholders. No matter what they do, criticism.

Spend on product development - criticism
Reduce spending - criticism
Raise money on market - criticism
Create director debt for equity deal - criticism
Recruit best in class - criticism
Secure full payment on terminated trial - criticism
Lower promotional expenditure- criticism
Fail to send scarlett a daily email briefing her on what the CEO had for breakfast and what suit he wore - criticism


I think we can safely assume that if they hit all their targets they will still roundly be criticised for not hitting goals they didn't have the ambitiousness set.


And people criticise the directors for saying it would be easier if the company was private, without a hint of self awareness.


I'll stand by my first reaction, even after being enlightened by further responses...I think this will be warmly received for the decrease in expenditure.
