Exactly mate, thought I would share this , not the usual TA, but coming from another TA approach that some might get something out of, I use this data to automate trading ideas but the stats it generates might be interesting to some here too, heres a look at the price data from the last 6 months and 12 months of IVX:
So on the right hand side you can see the stats from the last 6 months of data vs the last 12 months, stats like average daily volume, daily value traded, daily movement, the number of positive days, negative days, VWAP (price most of the volume trades at), date most volume occured, etc. Including some novel data like avg tick value, so how much it takes to move the stock a tick, so for example from 1.1-1.2, takes on average $42k and 3.5 million shares.
Highlighted cells occur in the volume column when volume is over the average. You can see todays volume of 12.9 million so far is over 4 times the average volume of the last 6 months, something is breawing behind the scenes, especially in this market, dont get huge volume buying for no reason, whilst markets are falling, might be in for another run.
