From a business point of view though, Usound and Xmems have both entered the market with the initial products they have developed for personal use audio devices - a huge market. They've been successful in doing this in short time. They have established their credibility and names in the industry and market and have easily attracted support and funding. They have established good relationships with well known manufacturers and with established customers. They are now earning income. They are doing all this while at the same time continuing the research and development of improved and wider ranging products. A good business model.

On the other hand AKP is operating like it is running a university research programe. When they finally deliver, their competitors will not be far behind and they will potentially be better placed to reach commercial success faster.

Is all I'm saying here.
