It will be interesting to see what happens. Woodside will have a strong view on this play even before the seismic survey is over and if they like what they see with PCL's market cap about 2/3 what Shell is paying for a year with the Mearsk Voyager https://www.rigzone.com/news/maersk_drillship_gets_oneyear_gig_with_shell-04-apr-2022-168496-article/
It may be simpler for Woodside to buy out PCL early, than have to pay a premium when a drill target is announced and the share price gets silly
