MO - If you had to rate the chances of Domain being spun off and listed out of 10, what would you rate it at?
Everyone in the industry that I speak to keeps saying the same thing about Domain, that they're not a genuine online business in the true sense of the word, like REA Group is, and that their focus isn't really where it should be etc. - so it's interesting that you say they will break off and list as purely a portal. I think that will help with how the business is perceived, for sure.
The allhomes acquisition is an interesting one. Considering they paid $50mil for it, what does everyone think allhomes was/is making? $3-$4mil EBIT?
