re: Ann: Application for Production Licence a... Santos have a long history of screwing anyone who needs to use their pipelines or facilities. Of course, that's business! Having been on the receiving end a few times in the past I tend to look at Santos as an extremely hostile negotiating partner when it is not part of the JV doing the negotiation.
A recent example is Tap Oil - they tried to negotiate access to the Mutineer-Exeter facilities to process their Fletcher-Finucane oil but wound up selling their stake to Santos becuase they couldn't reach commercial terms DESPITE the Mutineer-Exeter FPSO etc. running significantly below capacity.
