It's an interesting game. If the price is 52 on 14 Dec and you can buy some at 48, it seems like a wise move to go all in and 4ds would get just about every penny out of their CR. That means the next CR, if any, is at least several months further away, increasing the potential upside of buying in, making that buy in an even better deal, assuming you don't just cash out the second you get the shares and make an easy 10% for no effort. The security of the big CR would probably also send the price a bit higher, so yay, fortune favours the brave.
If the price is 47 on 14 Dec, why would anyone buy in at all? You can buy on market for cheaper. That means the next CR, if any, is several months closer, increasing the downside of buying in, making that purchase an even worse deal - you'd have to hold on to it just to break even. The lacklustre CR would then probably send the price even lower.
I'm not in a position to commit much at all, but it's an interesting game to watch.
