I think the problem with AF's business model is, as ASX11 mentioned before, 4DX pays for the cost of installation. This means there is no incentive for the providers to promote the product. If someone stumbles in every so often it just means a bit more income. A win win for the providers, not so great for 4DX. If the provider paid for the installation they would want to earn back their expenditure. If the 4DX products become the gold standard in the US, that will change things but until then it will just be a very deep pit where investor will throw their money in.
