Dr Sam Hupert is certainly not short of a dollar, especially of late. He is however an astute business man and I would highly doubt he makes donations of hundreds of thousands of dollars in companies he doesn’t truly believe hold a bright future. In an interview about 18 months ago AF stated he speaks to Dr Hupert weekly and considers him his mentor. In my view this is a strong vote of confidence. If you had the opportunity to wait and access a business for 4 years before pulling the trigger why wouldn’t you. No skin off his nose if the options lapsed.
