these very OTM AAUOC would be one way to come for the company with a majority holding / hostile takeover bid sort of by stealth because most people would think it totally illogical and AAUOC out of play, especially for just those "extra shares" to reach the target qty.

that is entirely speculation on my part, as yes these conversions seem illogical
