My understanding is that the options are being processed on Thursdays so if you get your timing right - pretty quick!
I haven't converted any this time round but I did the last. I can't remember the exact timing but it was 2 or 3 days from when Automic picked up that I held options to convert. Automic (in my experience) won't recognise your correct holding until the day after the T+2 day.
So yeah pretty sure I've wired the cash to AVL and e-mailed Neville the paperwork on a Tuesday and by the end of the week the full shares were visible in my Commsec account.
I've not found good enough arbtrage of late to do it as I am too cautious but I found two moments this week where had I taken risk I could have.
The conversion this time round must have been relatong to trade jlls just before Easter I think.
