if motherlode is barren it means 2 things

1) we are still hugely underpriced because of the "whopping" shallow resource
2) clearly the gravity survey, all the other surveys and hole 22-10 were just all wrong and all that shallow Cu ( possibly millions of tons) fell from the sky
