Your point 3. is well made and fully supported by the facts surrounding the ongoing attempts to develop a Loihi commercial chip by Mike Davies at Intel.
It has been posted here previously but it is probably useful to remember that in early 2023 Mike Davies stated that a commercial Loihi chip was still up to 5 years away.

Note that it is up to 5 years away notwithstanding the following resources devoted by Intel towards its commercial development:

How are we able to drive innovation across such an expansive set of research areas? Through our large and diverse workforce of over 700 research scientists spread across Intel campuses worldwide.”

On top of having 700 research scientists employed to work on commercialising Loihi Intel also has an annual grants budget for any university wanting to progress Loihi technology including software of over $US100 million.

A rational investor could easily consider that the complaints about what Brainchip spends to further its lead and drive the commercial adoption of AKIDA technology is impressively small given all that it has achieved to date and the stated ambition to be one of the two or three major players in the Edge Ai market place.
