I believe that in certain circumstances wave energy in some form will be economic for energy production but I cannot see that on a wide scale in countries that have mountains and stored hydro along with large solar for example. Yes there is room out there for it but it is genuinely still an immature technology as so many funds have been wasted to date. I am unsure if anything CCE has is suitable or another version / technology will become a possible wave energy provider . What does CCE have - predictive software and controls that can be applied to a energy actuator and models based on its buoys and buoy arrays. Maybe its software will be a quicker option for another party rather than developing their own and as we all know that with AI development that took 5 years now can be done in weeks in theory.

The bottom line is if CCE is investment grade of just research? Will CCE be a player in final wave energy solution with key component and what income will it earn for that? If it can't translate its knowledge / patents/physical installations to dollars it is not investment grade?

Pathway from here? Any progress IMO requires large partner with deep pockets to progress after successful trial so that means buyout on poor terms, a trailing income for someone using their IP / technology or simply sitting on shelf as other proponents use other methods? I can't see what CCE has now that makes it a good investment as so many more $ and progress are required and it is years away still. 30 years ago I was very supportive as Carnegie has large early innovator advantage with big brother financial support but time and technology has changed.

Seriously CCE need some despot or very advanced nation ( who bares all costs ) with deep pockets $ to order and install a modular array and prove system in real world creating a reliable base load energy source at correct scale and prove survivability and genuine real world LCOE for others to follow. Long odds on that I think.
