I'd love it if he didnt waste time trying to figure out who is selling, it's not really that important in the current climate. Markets everywhere seem to be on a knife edge, everyone thinks that a crash is overdue.

What is really important for us right now is

    1. what our real value is
    2. what that means our "crash" value is.

Recalling 2007, pure spec resource plays with no cash reserves were valued at as little as a couple of million market cap.
Biotechs that suffered clinical failures also were punished, many reaching similarly unnerving valuations.

But if you DYOR you will also find that the biggest gainers in 08 were biotechs that delivered. XHJ suffered the least of all the indices, it only shed around 5% and mostly off the back of CSL. It also went on to accrue some of the biggest gains in the period afterwards.

So lets look at our situation. Market cap? Currently $48m. Still ample room for correction if the shit hits the fan, but already looking a bit anorexic, so not exactly a red alert valuation.

Potential downside in a crash scenario? Raising further capital when current funds run dry. Based on option uptake and revenue stream i think we can safely say we are in a position to ride out a few years, no? And crashes dont last that long. Comparative charts of XHJ (in blue) vs XMJ and XAO below show it wasnt a long way down nor a long journey back up.

Risk at this point then isnt whether we can bounce back up to fair valuations, it is only whether in the interim, the market for wearables becomes depleted to the point that our products are no longer economically viable.

I'm not going to make an opinion on this, but for consideration, did anyone stop buying consumer goods during the GFC? In the US the data on manufacturing said no, and the data on healthcare said there was actually an increase.

There's our gamble, and that is why i would rather see the CEO spend his time on getting these products to market rather than reading T20 updates to work out who is selling a few million (or less than 1%) of shares on any given day.

Could be a nervy ride for a few months, but it could equally be a stellar run once the focus shifts to product launches
