number of shares is irrelevant. If a company consolidates its shares, all other things being equal market cap will remain the same. Nothing fundamental has changed about the company other than it’s capital structure.
if the company is trading at less than .8c as you suggest then the options are out of the money, so your so called “overhang” is also irrelevant in that scenario.
furthermore, Paul hopper owns 20% of the options so they presumably are also not relevant, as he would likely exercise without selling on market.
Given not everyone needs to sell on market to exercise options or potentially have already sold out and retained an option - let’s assume 50% of the remaining options would be funded by shares sold on market at 1c, then you are looking at $2m io total transaction value of share sales. Peanuts. This is amount would be easily eclipsed with one positive announcement.
