This is one of the problems with USA based executives. If you go back a few 4Cs you will see how there salary was calculated. It included compensation for performance shares they lost by leaving their previous employer. Thats the normal way of business over there when head hunting.

This is why CHM is becoming a Melbourne based company, mitigates this and exchange rate fluctuations.

I am sure there are a couple of threads that explain this somewhere.

The company explained to me that having Jennifer deal with the trial design she save us several years of research; due to her being able to use previous experience with the FDA of bringing CarT to approval. This saves many more millions than her salary, as CarT is expensive.

The GBM trial has shown positive data, but showed problems with the administration of the drug due to it being very specialised. This is being rejigged. Hopefully thats finished soon. All the data is still good, and the trial will be able to continue from where it paused.

As has been mentioned, this is a high risk investment. Not for the faint of heart.
