It is a fabrication to say this March result will confirm a 40% reduction or give a p value <0.05 and shows a lack of understanding of how futility works.
—- IMO the company has to bear some responsibility for its comms with explaining this and confusion which then got picked up by 1 or 2 posters here who are exaggerating the strength of the outcome with March

So what you’re saying is that because this is just a futility analysis that the bar has been set so low that we’re guaranteed to hear a successful result mid-March? Cool. Sounds good.
