The only way the last few years has any impact at all on the coming announcement is it'll dictate the amount of last-off stale-bulls waiting to sell their stock at any price rise, no matter the details. That situation is not scary at all, its bog standard. And its a great big fat opportunity for investors who care about the details. Run free stale bulls!!
