They are 'equally tradeable' in the sense that they are both traded on an open market, but the heads live in a far deeper pool ... for example, selling 1m heads may not deflate price much, it's a small proportion of total shares traded daily and may allow a further 1m to be sold at about the same price.
Options? selling into a shallower pool would likely deflate the price significantly.
