obviously you don't understand what time value of money is
from your post above you said that "they make zero dollars by not converting now" which is not truethe options hasn't expired yet so they can still convert anytime within next 15 monthstoday's $600k is worth more than the $600k in 15 months time if they don't sell now for quick profit
but if they do then doesn't that mean they think what I was thinking?
listed or unlisted has nothing to do with when they decide to exercise the option, it all comes down to the price and time to maturity
go and have a look at LRS example (I didn't find this example)
when unlisted options (2027) converted at August last year, was it all time high?
