I wonder if Cervantes will be pushed back further now that there is no sales path for crude after the next shipment from Kwinana .
The owners of the permit will have to shut their field in after their on site storage fills until a new sales path is created .
My best guess is export through Geraldton but there is also talk of a new mini refinery .
Neither option likely to be quick .

There are ambitious drill programs in the Perth basin for gas that probably justifies a second rig operating there .
Presently the WA Hard Border causing costly delays to several operators .
My guess is that in only a few months time that high WA vaccination rates and the inevitable spread of the Omicron variant in the WA community will see the end of the Hard border .

A delay of Cervantes would not delay first revenue from a discovery and might be in the interests of all of the members of the JV .
The SP decline of MEL is because the Market is waiting to hear the funding details for their projects that occur before first gas revenue .
We need to hear from them soon .
Being late on some of the required catalysts on the path to first gas revenue is sapping confidence too .
Ken has been good about getting the message of the exploration success out there but they need too now get the catalysts DONE .
