If you go back to the Announcements of 29/11/2023 & 30/11/2023, to what this all refers too, it does make mention of the options.
"In addition, a schedule of milestone payments in shares and options is in place on the successful completion of:" etc etc.
My guess would be, this release: 12/12/2023 is for the 2.5 or just the retainer payment. With the milestone payments etc etc, yet to be confirmed.
It might help, if I had put a ? after each sentence as well....
