I suggest you start by reading the Convertible Note (CN) terms. The funders are entitled to claim up to 1/3 of the face value of the CN at a 7.5% discount to the lowest closing SP over a 10 day period. The funders would obviously take up that option given that the SP has taken off.
The value of the shares requested by the funders comes off the face value of the outstanding loan i.e. MNS now has a CN debt of around $13m, rather than $21m.
Look at who advised one of the funders to issue their CN, Hancock; the guys worth $$$Billions.... he, his mates and his mum (worth $30B+) are probably all buying stock on market; for them, MNS is probably their next VUL.
