It doesn't matter what PAA want.
If they haven't provided the market with a reasonable valuation on the revenue opportunity, accounting for incidence, geography etc. Then whatever BP offer, is up to shareholders to accept. and they don't need everyone to agree.
Who are the Major shareholders here and when did they get in?
If BP were to lob an offer at 100+ % premium, who here is sure there's enough votes against it to curb it?
We need to get closer to P2 and gain some interim data before trying to flog this thing off otherwise you'd be lucky to get 60c right now IMO
