Egan Street (EGA) was a gold mining company I was invested in before RAC that was subject to a less than ideal (for the shareholders) takeover. I help organised a shareholder rebellion that managed to get a significantly higher return for all the shareholders. I mentioned to my fellow EGA shareholders that I had just invested in RAC and many chose to also invest along with me (this was when the SP was below 10c). Quite a few of the regular posters here are from that time.
